Introduction
The Malaysian Paint & Coating Manufacturers Association (MPCMA) was established on the 19th of December 1966 as a non-profit organization to represent the broad interests of the paint manufacturing industry in Malaysia.Today the Association comprises of paint manufactures, associated suppliers and supporting organizations. We provide a platform for all members to discuss current issues and understand the collective needs of the industry.
MPCMA has been the voice of the industry for nearly 50 years addressing both local and international subject on behalf of the membership.
MPCMA is also a subsector of the Chemical Industry Council of Malaysia and together supports the initiatives of the Chemical industry.
OBJECTIVE
- To promote and protect the interests of the manufacturers of paints and coatings in Malaysia. The paints and coatings shall include all paints, varnishes, lacquers, and their allied products.
- To promote and support legislation for the improvement of the standing of manufacturers of paints & coatings in Malaysia.
- To promote the collection and circulation of statistics and other information relating to the paints and coatings industry and the publication of other literary undertakings as may seem appropriate.
- To subscribe to or become a member of or cooperate with any public body or institution or association where it is considered such subscription membership or cooperation is conducive to the objects for which the Association is established.
- To make joint recommendation to Government, Public Authorities, other Associations or individuals on behalf of the association.
- To commit to the best practices in the areas of health, safety and environmental stewardships for the paint and coatings industry.
